Review notes and source fidelity

V9 uses the latest six-region edited illustration. Older wide images and independent forest study remain preserved. The forest is largest and covers the southern/southeastern boundary; swamp is smaller east/east-northeast. Plains remains a provisional name, separate from any assumption about Wastes. The old painting now serves as town close-up, not the entire valley. The new art has no logo and no baked labels; the atlas adds region labels and an approximate home overlay. Farms, paths and terrain shapes in the illustration remain proposals. V5 adds the illustrated Great Forbidden Forest detail. Its new clearings, streams and root features remain unnamed draft choices. Other regions still use the provisional schematic; the home opens a conceptual cutaway.

The cardinal structure follows Bible §44 and Mark’s October 11 record. Board_Allmap.png was inspected as pixels: its river-crossed town is useful visual evidence, but it has no compass and its gameplay symbols are not atlas canon. This schematic assigns north upward according to the textual cardinal structure. River flow, distances and precise boundaries remain open.

The latest record places the home on the forest–swamp boundary, technically swamp side. Bible §48 says “in the center”; older manuscript wording places a home in haunted forest with the village east. These are unresolved source differences, not silently reconciled facts. Great Forest, Old Forest and Shadow Fields must not automatically be treated as identical.

Ten major swamp forces and their domains are to be chosen collaboratively. No final roster, neighboring intelligent societies, artifact caches or automatic brainstorm markers are supplied. Artifacts are rare in the isolated valley; border regions have richer possibilities. Hydra Creek, Silvery Mountain, Mount Shadow and dragon home/siege conflicts remain unpinned.
